Assigning and Viewing Students for Exams

Overview

The Assign / View Student feature allows you to control which students are enrolled in a specific examination. This allows for flexibility in cases where only specific students in a class need to take an exam (e.g., remedial exams or optional subjects).

Navigation Path

  1. Navigate to: CBSE Exam > Exams.

  2. Locate your desired exam in the Exam List.

  3. In the Action column, click on the Action button.

  4. Click the Select Button: Assign / View Student.

1. Assigning Students to an Exam

Once the management modal opens, you will see a list of all students enrolled in the class and section associated with that exam.

  1. Identify Students: Review the student roster displayed in the modal.

  2. Bulk or Individual Selection:

    • To Assign: Check the checkbox next to the student’s name.

    • To Unassign: Uncheck the checkbox for any student who should not be included in this examination.

    • Select All: Use the header checkbox to quickly select or deselect the entire class list.

  3. Save Changes: Click the [Save] button at the bottom of the modal.

[!NOTE]

Only assigned students will appear in the Marks Entry module. If a student is missing from your grading sheet, verify their assignment status here first.

This module also serves as a quick verification tool:

  • Current Status: Students with a checked box are currently active for this exam.

  • Student Details: You can view essential details such as Admission Number, Name, and Roll Number to ensure accuracy before finalizing the list.
