Observation Parameters allow educators to define qualitative metrics (such as Discipline, Punctuality, or Art Education) for student evaluation. This section outlines how to create, modify, and manage these parameters within the CBSE Exam module.
Navigate to: CBSE Exam > Observation Parameters
The management page is divided into a creation form (left) and a data list (right).
Enter Details: On the left side of the screen, locate the input field labeled Name.
Input Name: Type the name of the parameter you wish to track (e.g., Health & Fitness).
Save: Click the [Save] button.
Verification: The new parameter will instantly appear in the record list on the right side of the page.
Use the edit function to correct typos or rename existing parameters without deleting them.
Select Parameter: In the record list (right side), locate the parameter you wish to change.
Initialize Edit: Click the Pencil (Edit) icon within the Action column.
Update Info: The name will appear in the input field. Modify the text as required.
Confirm: Click [Save]. A success message will appear, and the list will reflect the updated name.

Before deleting, ensure that this parameter is not already linked to active student observation records, as this may affect historical data.
Select Delete: Click the Action button in the Action column for the specific parameter.
Delete: Click the delete button.
Confirm Action: A Delete Confirmation modal will appear.
Finalize: Click Delete Button. The parameter will be permanently removed from the system.
