Creating and Managing Marksheet Templates

Overview

The Template module provides a flexible design interface where you can toggle specific student data fields, upload authorized signatures, and set the visual orientation (Portrait or Landscape) of the final marksheet.

Go to: CBSE Examination > Template


1. Designing a New Template
  1. Open the Designer: Click the [+ Add Template] button in the top-right corner to open the Add Template modal.

  2. Basic Configuration:

  • Template Name: Give your design a unique name (e.g., Annual Report Card 2024).

  • Class & Section: Assign the template to the relevant student groups.

  • Marksheet Type: Choose between Landscape or Portrait orientation.

School Branding & Headers:

  • Input the School Name, Exam Centre, and Printing Date.

  • Header Image: Upload your school's letterhead or logo.

  • Background Image: Upload a watermark or background design if required.

Signatures & Footer:

  • Footer Text: Add any legal disclaimers or school mottos.

  • Upload Signatures: Upload digital images for the Left, Middle, and Right signature slots (typically for the Class Teacher, Exam In-charge, and Principal).

Data Field Customization (Toggles): Below the description, use the toggle switches to enable or disable specific fields on the printed report. If a toggle is OFF, that field will not appear on the marksheet. Options include:

  • Student Name / Photo

  • Father’s / Mother’s Name

  • Admission Number / Date of Birth

  • Exam Session / Class / Section

  • Teacher Remarks

Save: Click [Save] to add the template to your list.


2. Managing Your TemplatesEditing a Template
  1. Click the Action button and choose Edit in the Action column.

  2. Adjust branding, toggle different fields, or update signature images.

  3. Click [Save] to apply changes to all future marksheets printed with this template.


Deleting a Template
  1. Click the Action button and choose Delete in the Action column.

  2. In the Delete Confirmation modal, click [Delete].
