Generating the Subject Marks Report

Overview

Unlike the Template Marks Report, which focuses on final weighted results, the Subject Marks Report displays the actual marks obtained in each individual subject. This allows administrators to audit specific subject performance and verify the "Grand Total" for a single exam.

Navigation Path

Go to: CBSE Exam > Report > Subject Marks Report

1. Generating the Report

  1. Open the Filter: Once on the Subject Marks Report page, locate the Exam selection field.

  2. Select Exam: Click the dropdown menu to see a list of all exams (e.g., Periodic Test 1, Half Yearly, or Annual Exam).

  3. Search: Click the [Search] button on the right. The comprehensive data table will populate below.

2. Reading the Report Structure

The report is organized into two main sections: Student Identification and Performance Metrics.

A. Student Identification

  • Student Name: The full name of the student.

  • Admission Number: The unique school ID.

  • Father's Name: Used for additional verification.

B. Performance Metrics

  • Subject Columns: Each subject included in that exam (e.g., English, Math, Science) will have its own column showing the marks obtained.

  • Grand Total: The sum of all subject marks for that specific exam.

  • Percentage: The student's average score for this exam.

  • Grade: The letter grade assigned based on the exam-specific grading scale.

  • Rank: The student's position in the class for this specific exam.
