The Link Exam feature allows you to define the logic of your report card. Whether you need a simple report for a single unit test or a comprehensive annual marksheet combining multiple terms, this module controls the data consolidation.
Go to: CBSE Exam > Template.
In the Action column of your desired template, click the Action button and choose Link.
In the Link Exam modal, click the Marksheet Type dropdown to select the calculation logic that fits your needs:
Use this to display multiple terms side-by-side.

Use this for a simplified report of one specific assessment.
Selection: Identify the Term to filter the list, then select the specific Exam Name.
Save: Click [Save].
Use this to combine several exams without a formal "Term" structure.
Selection: Select multiple exams regardless of their assigned terms.
Weightage: Enter the specific weightage for each selected exam.
Finalize: Choose the Grading/Remarks source and click [Save].
[!IMPORTANT]
Subject Consistency: If linking two or more exams (e.g., Exam 1 and Exam 2), you must ensure the subject lists are identical in both. Inconsistent subjects will cause formatting errors on the printed marksheet.
[!NOTE]
Weightage Logic: Ensure your combined weightage values total 100% to ensure accurate final calculations.
All Term vs. Term-Wise: "All Term" allows multiple terms at once; "Term-Wise" is restricted to one term at a time.
Single vs. Multiple (No Term): "Single" is restricted to one exam; "Multiple" allows you to aggregate several assessments into one report.
