Recording Attendance and Teacher Remarks

Overview

In the CBSE framework, a student’s marksheet is not complete without their attendance record and a qualitative summary from their class teacher. These two modules allow you to input the total working days, the student's presence, and a final professional assessment of their academic year.

1. Recording Student Attendance

This section tracks the student's presence against the total school working days for the term.

  1. Navigate: Go to CBSE Exam > Exam.

  2. Open Attendance: In the Action column, click the Action button and choose Exam Attendance.

  3. Define Session Duration: At the top of the modal, enter the Total Attendance Days (the total number of days the school operated during that term).

  4. Enter Student Data: For each student in the list, input their Total Present Days in the provided field.

  5. Save: Click the [Save] button.

2. Adding Teacher Remarks

Remarks provide a personalized touch to the marksheet, offering insight into the student's progress and areas for improvement.

  1. Navigate: Go to CBSE Exam > Exam.

  2. Open Remarks: In the Action column, click the Action button and choose Teacher Remarks.

  3. Review Performance: The modal displays student details along with their Marks for quick reference, helping the teacher write an informed comment.

  4. Input Feedback: In the Remarks column, type your professional feedback for each student (e.g., "Excellent academic growth; encouraged to participate more in class discussions.").

  5. Save: Click the [Save] button to finalize the remarks.
