InfixEdu Web Interface for The Biometric Module

Installation:

To install a module please follow the video below:



After successful installation you get a menu named "Biometrics"


Inside biometric main you will get 5 new submenu.


1. Biometric Settings:

Update biometric Settings:

Inside Bimetric settings (ref: 1.1) you will get a button inside select named Edit (ref: 1.2). After click the edit button you get a modal (figure:2) for change the setting.

In the biometric setting you get 7 field,

field 1: Settings title

field 2: Start time

field 3: Consider start time (From start time to consider start time is calculated as present. If a student or staff punch in between the start time and consider start time he/she will marked as present),

field 4: Exit time (If a user punch in before the exit time and after exit time he/she marked exited)

field 5: Send sms to student (If checked yes student receive a sms while punch in and puch out)

field 6: Send sms to Parent (If checked yes parent receive a sms while punch in and puch out)

field 7: Send sms to staff (If checked yes staff receive a sms while he/she punch in and puch out)


After set your settings click on update (ref 2.8). Your changes will saved.


Note: If a student punch in after the consider start time, He/She will be marked as Late.


Import Attendance:

Inside Bimetric settings (ref: 1.1) you will get a button for import attendance (ref: 1.3)

After click that button you get a modal (figure: 3) for submit your excel file.

2. User Id:

On the User id (ref: 4.1) menu you will get the user id. You need to setup this id to biometric machine. We will identify user by this id.

You can filter user by their role (ref: 4.2)
