In Our System We have 2 Option in Google Meet Module.
1: Without API

you Just need to create meet and paste link in our and student or selected user get notification and can join meet.
2: with API :
not need copy paste meet link not go to google meet . You can create meet from our application but you have to create developer account (how get API Key and secret key) . after create Account Successfully just copy paste API key (client_id) and Secret key .and you have login in your browser which browser currently working .
After that you can create google meet from application and selected user get notification and join meeting time.
