Infix Edu Learning Management System (LMS) module- User Guide

Welcome to the Infix Edu Learning Management System (LMS) module! This guide will walk you through the process of using the LMS module to create and manage courses, enroll students, and customize settings.
Enabling the LMS Module
To start using the LMS module, you need to enable it in the settings:
  1. Go to the Settings section.
  2. Navigate to General Settings > Module Manager.
  3. Search for "LMS" and activate the module.

Setting Permissions

Grant permissions to use the LMS module on the Student & Teacher panels:
  1. Go to the HR section.
  2. Navigate to Role & Permission > Students.
  3. Assign permissions for the LMS module.

Accessing the LMS Module

Once activated, you'll find the LMS module in the sidebar of the dashboard.

Creating Courses

As an Admin or Teacher, you can create courses using the following steps:
  1. Go to All Courses from the LMS module.
  2. Click on the Add button to create a new course.
  3. Fill in the required details for the course or quiz.

Course Fees

Set course fees or make courses free:
  1. Navigate to the details of a course.
  2. Add the course fee or choose to make it free.

Viewing and Managing Courses

  1. Course List: View, edit, add lessons, or delete courses from the course list.
  2. Adding Lessons: Add lessons to chapters under the Curriculum tab.

Additional Features

  • Course Levels: Admins can add course levels from the Course Level menu.
  • Enrollment History: View the list of enrolled users from the Enroll History section.
  • Invoice and Purchase Log: Updates after a user purchases a course.
  • Customization: Customize courses by changing settings in the Settings section.
