Before claiming a warranty, ensure that the following preconditions are met:
- Set Serial Key for Products: Enable the serial key option in the settings module. Navigate to Settings > Product Settings and set "Use Serial Key" to "Yes".
- Set Serial Key During Purchase: When receiving purchased products, set the serial key either manually or by importing it from an Excel sheet.
- Set Serial Number During Sale: When performing a sale, add a serial number for each item sold.
Warranty Management
- Configure Criteria:
- Service Center: Add your company's service center names.
- Service Type: Define service types.
- Claimed Product Condition: Specify product conditions.
- Claim Warranty:
- Navigate to the Warranty Management module.
- Add a new warranty with product details.
- Manage Warranty Process:
- Product Checking: The staff checks the product and sets the appropriate status.
- Manage Product: Edit the status of the product and set it to the next stage.
- Service Invoice:
- Create a service invoice for products that require servicing.
- Set the status of the product to "Ready for Delivery" once servicing is complete.
- Warranty Delivery:
- Set the product status to "Make Delivery" to initiate the delivery process.
- Once delivered, the product will be listed in the "Warranty Delivered" menu.
- View Warranty Stock:
- Monitor warranty stock from the designated menu.
- Track Claimed Products:
- Access the list of claimed warranty products for reference.
- Service Invoice Management:
- Access service invoices and view deleted invoices if necessary.
