Step by step, enter organisation details with our wizard and configure organisational settings.  



A proper Chart of Accounts is the foundation of accurate investment accounting. Create the Required Chart of Accounts (COA).

Chart of Accounts Create in Aorabook:


Account list > Chart of Accounts > Add new Ledger 


Create the COA by:

 

Name of Account

Unique Code for Account

Account Type - Current / Other Current / Non-Current Asset

Detail Type - Investments

Description

Status - Active

Save the Account


 

Record Investment Transactions (Journal Entry):


Each investment is recorded through a journal voucher. It allows one to clearly see where funds are invested and in what amount.


Add new Icon > New Journal

Sidebar menu > Account > Journal > Add new journal



Select the Investment company account for the debit account and input the balance.

For the credit account, select either Cash or Bank, then enter the Balance.

Save the journal


Journal For Investment Related Expenses:


Debit the Expense Account

Credit the payment account



Record For Profit or Return on Investment:

When profit is earned from an investment, it is recorded using a journal entry.
