Ledger
A ledger is a comprehensive record of all financial transactions of an organization, organized by account. It tracks debits and credits for each account, such as cash, bank, salaries, or expenses, and provides a running balance. Ledgers are essential for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial statements, and auditing. They help in monitoring the financial health of the organization and ensure transparency in all monetary transactions.
