AmazCart provides a convenient method to add or modify the system currency. The Currency List feature displays the currencies currently in use or those that have been added to AmazCart. It is imperative to set up currencies through the admin panel to ensure an accurate representation of prices on your website. The value of each currency is determined based on its equivalence to 1 USD. Users have the flexibility to display their currency symbol and value alongside product prices on the website.
Setup Instructions:
- Accessing Currency Setup:
- Navigate to the admin panel and locate the following path: SYSTEM > Setup > System > Currency List.
- Adding Currency Details:
- Currency Name: Enter the name of your currency.
- Currency Code: Input the code of your currency (e.g., BDT, INR, etc.).
- Currency Symbol: Add the symbol representing your currency.
- Conversion Rate: Define the conversion rate, specifying the value of your currency about 1 USD.
- Enabling Currency:
- To activate your currency, proceed to Admin Panel > SYSTEM > General Settings > SYSTEM DEFAULT CURRENCY.
- Select your desired currency from the options provided.
- Click "Save" to confirm your selection.
- Customer Currency Selection:
- If you have enabled multiple currencies on your website, customers can switch between them easily.
- From the HomePage, locate the Top Bar.
- Click on the currency name displayed and select their preferred currency from the dropdown menu.
